EMPI VW Alternators
EMPI Makes several different versions of the VW alternator. P/N 00-9445-7 is a standard 55 Amp alternator (china made).
P/N 00-9453-7 is a 75 Amp version (china made-chrome)
P/N 00-9458-7 is a U.S. made 90 Amp, while P/N 00-9459-7 is 90 Amp polished version (also U.S. made)
P/N 00-9458-7 is a U.S. made 90 Amp with dual internal cooling fans. P/N 00-9459-7 is the 90 Amp dual internal fan polished version.
P/N 00-9445 is a complete alternator conversion kit with 55 Amp alternator (china made), stand, strap, and 3 piece backing plate. Order this kit if you are converting 6 volt system to 12 volt. CA Prop 65 Warning
