EMPI 30 PICT-1 Carburetor
EMPI Modified 30 PICT-1 Carburetor (P/N 98-1287B) has been designed for VW 1600cc class race engines. This carburetor has been Baja tested, and is SCORE approved. The choke assembly has been removed and plugged. Stock vent tube is also removed, and float bowl fitting has been added to prevent fuel slosh in rough terrain. Stock fuel inlet fitting is removed and threaded hose barb fitting is installed. Dual throttle return springs are installed to prevent stuck throttle situations. We also carry the EMPI Standard 30 PICT-1 in a stock unmodified version if you prefer to do the modifications yourself (P/N 98-1288B). This carburetor includes stock electric choke assembly. This carburetor is jetted for stock 1600cc VW engine.
