Fortin Racing manufactures this heavy duty billet aluminum rack & pinion for race buggies with a-arm style suspension. 2.5" ram pushes heat treated rack through 4 1/4" of travel with 1 1/2:1 ratio. Robust rack and pinion is designed for use with external servo. Fortin Racing designed this rack for use on bigger desert class 1 or 10 cars with a-arm suspension. Fortin specifies using a 1250 psi pump, and 30 spline u-joint or coupler, (see u-joints in steering components section)
